Field Trip

I went with Jett and his pre-k class on a field trip to the fire department on Friday. Oh man, he was totally into all of it. They got to watch a video, see where the firemen slept, look at all the compartments of the trucks, watch the firemen dress in their turnout gear, and sit in the truck. I wasn't sure how he would do with me being there, but he got so into it all that I think he forgot I went with them. He never moved or said a word during ANY of it, and had an "awesome" time! When we got home I asked him if he wanted to be a fireman when he grew up and he looked at me and said "that would be totally cool, but I still want to be a garbage man."
