I called the Dr. today to find out the test results and I was told that "we still don't know anything." They truly think that the tumor is benign and they really want to tell me that they know 100%, but they just can't. They are still not exactly sure what kind of tumor it even is, none of the pathologists at Riley have ever seen, or dealt with this type before. So, there will be a Dr. coming in from New York on Monday for some meetings, and Jett's Dr.'s are going to have him do some research on his tumor. This specialist Dr. has had "extensive tumor training" as they put it, and he will definitely figure this one out. Until we know for sure what exactly we are dealing with they cannot tell us if any further treatments are necessary, or if the tumor could ever come back again. So, we are back at the waiting game, hopefully it won't last too much longer. I just know that we are in good hands, and we are blessed to have the Dr's that we have, that are so willing to work so hard to get this thing figured out! We have an appt. next Friday morning, so if I hear something before then, I will let you know. Thanks for the prayers, I couldn't do this without you all!
