Thanksgiving

I know, I am terrible! I haven't blogged in a very long time, believe me there is always interesting things going on to blog about, I just haven't found a lot of time! We have a lot of catching up to do, so I will start with Thanksgiving! We went to Aunt Jane's, as we do every year for Thanksgiving. Jane and John live in a beautiful house out in the country, so my boys just get thrilled every time we go out there. The Sodrel family has numerous traditions at Thanksgiving, and one of them includes shooting rifles. I know, probably sounds crazy to most of you, but the people that really know us, know that we truly are hillbillies deep down inside! This is something that we all LOVE, and take very seriously. I also shoot guns, I have done it for years, probably since I have been about 9 or 10. For many years I was the only girl that would shoot, but now that my girl cousins are getting older and my niece, they are beginning to take more of an interest. My dad is the one that pulls the skeet, and the rest of us take turns, and fire away. We had another wonderful Thanksgiving, and I look forward to it every year, it is definitely one of my favorite holidays. You would think that it wouldn't mean that much being that we all see each other so often, but the holidays are always so special! Now I can't wait for Christmas!
