Elmo

I went shopping the other day looking for some fall clothes for the boys. Jenson spotted this Elmo "packpack" as he calls it, and he HAD to have it! (Luckily it was on clearance!) Not only did he wear it around the whole store, but he had to immediately put it on after nap time, he wouldn't put pants on but he would put Elmo on! And Frank was just sure that we had brought him a new toy home to drag around, he chased Jenson around for an hour!

Potty!

Jenson sure had a big day yesterday! He has always been so intrigued when Jett goes to the restroom, and always says "Potty, Potty". My mom was over yesterday morning just hanging out after she trimmed Jenson's hair, and Jenson started saying "poop, poop," well I just kind of ignored it like I usually do. Well, my mom grabbed him and said I am going to see what he does if I put him on the potty, much to my surprise he sat there and pooped. We of course made a huge hoorah, and gave him treats, and naturally made a big deal of it, because of course it was a shock! About an hour later I am standing at our bed folding clothes and Jenson looks as me and says "poop", and I said "Jenson, do you want to go sit on the potty?", and he said "potty, poop" and took off running for the restroom! The final count as of last night was 3 poops in the potty and 1 pee! I know this is WAY too much information, but I cannot believe it! I am still in complete shock! But like my mom said, he may never go again until he is 5, but you never know! Anyway, just thought at least Nannie and Pops, and aunt Amy would like to know! I guess the next step is a big boy bed!

Jenson Enjoying Breakfast!

This is Jenson thoroughly enjoying his breakfast. I never knew just how wonderful muffins could taste. He is so funny, such a joy of a personality, and always smiling!

Stuck!!

Just had to share the pic of the day with you! Jenson and Jett were running around and playing, all of the sudden we couldn't find Jenson we could just hear his little voice saying "Tuck, Momma", "tuck". Well we found him alright, stuck right in between the back of the couch and the fireplace!

Jenson's Funny Vocabulary

Jenson and I were just sitting on the couch reading, and he started talking to me, (I usually cannot understand very much of it) and I began to laugh at some of the words this little 16 month old man uses. Jenson of course says the usuals such as mama, dada, papaw, mamaw, pops, nannie, dog dog, up, elmo, you know what is usually said, but then it made me realize how much influence his big brother has on him. Jensons other favorite words include (and in no particular order), stop, crash, cool, bus, poop, fry, cake, pop aka Popsicle,gas, gosh, and of course my favorite.. gross. Oh the joys of a little boy!
