GOD IS GOOD!

I can't believe it, I am actually sitting at home right now writing this! GOD IS SO GOOD! The surgery went so much better than expected, and the Lord was obviously in complete command at the hospital. We got to the hospital a little bit before 6:00 am, and did all the necessary paperwork, and typical other things. At about 7:30 the anesthesiologist came back and we talked to her, and than not long after that Dr. Wertz came down and he again went over the procedure and everything he was going to do. He again was telling us that he thought the best thing for Jett was the Spica cast, for complete immobilization. I really didn't want that, but I was ready and willing to do any and everything to make Jett better. We all than went to the waiting room to wait and hear what was going to happen next. Just over an hour later, we got a call from the nurse to go back downstairs and wait for the Dr., they were just about done and wanted to talk to us. (That was the longest few minutes of my life, waiting for the Dr.) The Dr. than came in and told us that Jett did awesome, better than expected, and that the tumor is BENIGN! YEAH! They still have to run a few more tests on it, but they don't have any reason to think anything different. PRAISE THE LORD! And, the Dr. also decided to just put on an knee immobilization, which will completely keep Jett off of his leg, but it will make it so much easier on us. We are so thankful that we don't have a huge Spica cast. So we are going back to the Dr. on January 11th, but for now all is good! Thanks for all of your thoughts, prayers, and cards. We appreciate them all. Just a few more weeks, and Lord willing we will be in the clear!
