Prayers

I first of all want to thank everyone who has been praying for us. We have really felt the Lord's presence through all of this. You truly see who cares about you when you just ask for a little prayer. So I just talked to my doctor, and the tests results show that I have a high amount of glycemic levels in my blood, which in turn means that I am hyperglycemic. If you are not cautious and really begin to watch your diet and exercise than there is a possibility of it turning into diabetes. I have to now go on a low glycemic diet, which is a little similar to a diabetic diet. I cannot eat white things, such as, white rice, white flour, white bread, sugars and most other carbs. They say that some carbs are okay that are found in wholegrain products, if you eat them sparingly. So needless to say, there goes the good stuff! I am still able to have them on an occasional basis, just not my daily chocolate and coke fix that I am so used to. OH MY GOSH, NO MORE COKE, that just occurred to me! That is okay, this sounds like a much healthier way to live, and a great reason to lose the rest of my weight. The doctor said that if I am not feeling better in a few weeks than to come back in, but this should do the trick. Thanks again for all of the prayers, and I might need a few more to get me through the transition of changing my eating lifestyle. If anytime is right to change, it is now! Love You All, Amanda

I'll be praying for you! It's always hard to change but your health is so important! I'm sure that will give you the extra push to make this happen! So glad they were able to give you a "how" to start feeling better!
